Councillor urges action over speeding traffic.

A Liberal Democrat Councillor has contacted both the police and Leicestershire County Council urging action to tackle speeding on Hinckley's Southfield Road.

Cllr Stuart Bray, who represents Hinckley's Castle Ward, has written to the Police and the Highways Department calling for action.

Cllr Bray said, "Many local residents have contacted me with concerns over how fast traffic travels along Southfield Road. I have written to both bodies asking for measures to be taken before a serious accident occurs."
