Liberal Democrats are listening to people's concerns in Hinckley and Bosworth

The top two Liberal Democrat candidates for the European elections, Bill Newton Dunn MEP and Ed Maxfield were in Hinckley today.

They hit local streets in the Rugby Road area.

Euro candidate Ed Maxfield said "Knocking on local people's doors it is clear they are fed up with the current government particularly over the expenses row. I believe all politicians should be straight and up front about their expenses. People have a right to know how their taxes are being spent.

"June the 4th gives people the chance to express their anger with the Labour and Conservative parties by supporting the Lib Dems."
