Compost site plan thrown out

November 20, 2009 8:40 AM

County councillors have thrown out plans to put a waste composting site in Fenny Drayton.

The motion to throw out the plans was moved by Liberal Democrat Cllr Stuart Bray. Cllr Bray said "The composting site was a bad idea. Many people in fenny Drayton, Witherley, Higham on the Hill and other villages were strongly opposed to these plans."
