The over one million pounds expenses of Leicestershire County Council's Conservative Leader

March 21, 2012 11:42 AM

The million pound plus expenses of the Conservative Leader of Leicestershire County Council have been revealed in two recent newspaper articles

The full expenses can be read in the document section of this website.

Cllr David Bill said "The Liberal Democrat group query whether the amounts spent on travel etc are value for money for residents in Leicestershire at a time of cuts and austerity -especially as Mr Parsons earned a considerable £56,500 last year in allowances. We believe that the current expenditure levels are too high and need to be scrutinised to ensure that the money spent is purely to support Mr Parsons's role as Leader of the Council."
