A recent Jobs Fair held at the Hinckley Leisure Centre had a big turnout.

In attendance were local Councillors Michael Mullaney (Lib Dem: Hinckley Trinity) and Mathew Hulbert (Lib Dem: Barwell).

Michael Mullaney said "It was great to see so many businesses coming to the Jobs Fair in Hinckley. The event was packed with employers, agencies, training providers and residents.

"With unemployment falling sharply locally, it's good that there are events like the Jobs Fairs to help people locally who are still looking for work find it."

Mathew Hulbert, Children and Young People's Champion said "There were lots of opportunities on offer from local employers, as well as the courses being run at North Warwickshire and Hinckley College and the apprenticeships available for young people.

"As Liberal Democrats providing opportunities for our young people is a key priority".
