Hinckley and Bosworth Tenants group get positive response in Town

4 Jun 2013

A newly formed group representing Tenants in Hinckley and Bosworth had a positive response from passers-by when they set up stall in Hinckley town centre.

Together for Tenants had a stall on Hinckley Market on Castle Street and spoke to many local tenants about getting involved in the group.

The group is a tenant-led partnership with the council that aims to involve more tenants in their communities and in developing housing services locally.

Supporting them on the stall was Hinckley and Bosworth's Executive Member for Housing Cllr Michael Mullaney, he said "The response from the public was very positive. Together for Tenants is a way of building two way communication between the Council and local tenants to improve the housing service even further."

Together for Tenants also had a good response when they took their stall on Tuesday at the Barwell Fun Day held at the Jubilee Hall in Barwell. They will be holding future stalls in other places in the Borough including Burbage, Newbold Verdon and Market Bosworth.
