Local NHS in Hinckley and Bosworth still facing massive pressures
Health services in Hinckley and Bosworth still face huge pressures says a local County Councillor.
Hinckley County Councillor Michael Mullaney said "Our local NHS reported that it was having to make £20million of "savings" or cuts in 2018/2019. Tory health secretary Matthew Hancock must realise that our area faces massive cuts to our local NHS.
"Local people want to hear from the Conservative government that they care about our NHS. If Tory Health Minister Matthew Hancock really cared about Hinckley's health service he should commit to either modernising the Hinckley Mount Road hospital or replacing it with the Walk In Centre or Minor Injuries Unit our large and growing population in the Hinckley area needs. Until the Tory government deliver our area the facilities it needs residents will continue to deel let down by a government that ignores our area."
