"The fall in the number of people in Bosworth claiming Jobseekers' Allowance is a welcome sign and shows that our economy is
recovering and people are returning to work.

"It is clearly a step forward but we must remain focussed on creating jobs and ensuring that all hardworking people benefit from the
recovery.

"Locally we have new jobs coming to our area through the Enterprise Zone at MIRA off the A5 near Hinckley and the parcel delivery firm DPD at Sketchley Brook.

"Liberal Democrats in Government have helped to create a million jobs and over one million apprenticeships.

"Jobs are crucial to building a stronger economy in a fairer society that allows everyone to get on in life."
