You can change our area today!

As the election in Hinckley and Bosworth draws to close there's a real chance for a real change in Hinckley and Bosworth today

Lib Dem candidate Michael Mullaney whose challenging strongly to be our areas next MP said "At the end of a hard fought election I jut wanted to say thank you for the warm response I have received. I really do appreciate it.

With Theresa May on course to win nationally, only one thing now remains: What kind of MP do we want locally.?

For the last 30 years we have been represented in Parliament by the same ineffective Conservative MP. He has let our area down. He lives 100 miles away, was banned from Parliament for taking cash for questions, was named and shamed in the expenses scandal and he has done little to prevent our local hospital closing.

I will be a new kind of MP for Hinckley and Bosworth.

Michael Mullaney and local Lib Dem supporters

- I will be a local MP. I live in the heart of Hinckley, me and my family use local services.
- I will continue to fight to protect our essential services such as our schools and NHS. Just as I
have done during my time as a local councillor.
- And I will strongly oppose Theresa May's plans to bring in a dementia tax which could effect 95% of houses locally.

The choice on Thursday couldn't be clearer. Either we will have a full-time MP who lives locally and will fight for our area, or we will have 5 more years of David Tredinnick. A Tory MP who we rarely see and who has let himself and our area down.

One thing is certain, Labour will not win round here. At the last two elections they have come a poor third. In last month's Council elections they didn't win a single council seat. That's why I have received many messages from Labour voters and party members saying they will back me as the only candidate who can beat Tredinnick this time.

"But my fight isn't against the other parties. It is to ensure our area gets the level of service we deserve."
