A manifesto for the Future of Council Housing was recently launched at the House of Commons. In attendance were Hinckley and Bosworth Tenants including Pam Wills, Chairman of Hinckley and Bosworth's Together for Tenants group and Michael Mullaney, Hinckley and Bosworth Councillor responsible for Council Housing. The manifesto emphasised the importance of building new Council Houses for people struggling to get on the housing market. Cllr Michael Mullaney said "Council Housing is an important part of the housing make up. After decades of there being no Council Houses built in Hinckley and Bosworth I am proud we are finally seeing some built.
