There is now less than eight months to save a new generation of young people from huge increases in university tuition fees, according to Liberal Democrat candidate for Bosworth, Michael Mullaney.
Local Liberal Democrats have launched a petition against plans to cut the number of fire staff in Hinckley.
"This damning report is deeply worrying," said Michael Mullaney Liberal Democrat parliamentary spokesperson for Bosworth.
"Gordon Brown made a grand promise to help people in real need but simply hasn't delivered," says local Liberal Democrat parliamentary spokesman Michael Mullaney.
