Last Wednesday, Conservative MPs including Hinckley and Bosworth’s MP Luke Evans voted against a new law which would have seen water companies in court for sewage spills.
Michael Mullaney and the Lib Dems have exposed the shocking new figures analysing sewage dumped in local areas. These reveal that sewage was dumped into waterways in Hinckley and Bosworth for 6,016 hours in 2023.
