Liberal Democrats in Hinckley and Bosworth are fielding a full slate of candidates in this year's Borough Council Elections. This years elections are expected to be a close race between the Lib Dems and the discredited Conservative Party. Polls will be open on May 3rd between 7am and 10pm. Elmlea on Ashby Road, Hinckley could still be demolished - despite Liberal Democrat councillors opposing the redevelopment. It is reported that the current owner is planning to go to Planning Appeal and it is possible the development for 31 flats could still go ahead.
