Next year, more than half a million additional children will qualify for the Pupil Premium. In Bosworth constituency, 1,970 are expected to be eligible, meaning that our schools are set to benefit from an extra £1,180,000 to support disadvantaged pupils.

Hinckley and Bosworth Liberal Democrats have welcomed a big increase in apprenticeships during the academic year 2010/11. The increase in apprenticeships in the Bosworth constituency was the 2nd biggest in the entire country.
Local Liberal Democrats have welcomed government measures to clamp down on unexpected bank charges following a review of consumer credit and personal insolvency. The Boundary Commission has proposed changes to the Bosworth constituency that will see Hinckley divided from Burbage and Barwell divided from Earl Shilton.
