The Liberal Democrats have swept to victory in tonight’s Leicestershire County Council by-election in Burbage. Barry Walker and the Lib Dems gained Burbage from the Conservatives on a huge 14% swing.
New figures released by the Environment Agency have shown that Severn Trent Water which covers Leicestershire discharged sewage a staggering 60,253 times last year, a 35% rise compared to in 2022.
